Chief Special Prosecutor Kimberly West, during her final address Monday, called for 45 years in prison for each of the accused, for Hashim Thaci and the others respectively, totaling 180 years.
About that, former president Luka Misethic's lawyer, declared that at 45 years' request, Mr. The SP is reaching life imprisonment.
The same demanded that Hashim Thaci be acquitted of all points of the indictment, be released and returned to his family and country.
Misetic added that the Special Court and Specialised Prosecutorship themselves would not exist unless Hashim Thaci, who established this institution to clear the name.
The prosecution under Thaci's chief lawyer was on trial and failed.
“Predestined an indictment full of faults, not consistent and irrational arguments”, lawyer Misethic said.
