Nine leaders detained for counterfeiting results in Rahovec, prosecution seeks detention for them

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova has announced that, along with the Kosovo Police, he has taken action over allegations of forging voting results during the voting count process within political subjects in the Rahovec municipality.

Under these actions, 17 leaders have been interviewed, the prosecution said.

All suspects charged for criminal work “Forging the results of the vote”.

“With the State Prosecutor's decision, 9 (nine) leading ones have been detained in the 48-hour duration, to which the prosecution has filed a request for the appointment of the detention measure to the competent court”.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova vowed to protect the integrity of the election process and to address criminal acts priority that violate free and democratic vote of citizens. /Periscopi/
