Kurti said that the Special Prosecution's request conflicts with the truth of the liberation war.
We are holding these two sessions in the afternoon, because these days are holding the latest court hearings against KLA leaders Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. The prosecution's request for 45 years in prison for each is an attempt that conflicts with the truth and denies the historical political context of our liberation war. The government's stance in Kosovo is clear, crimes against humanity have been committed in Kosovo against the civilian population, which the Milosevic regime has committed. Kurti said:
