Poland plans to investigate Epstein's alleged ties with Russian intelligence services following the recent publication of millions of Epstein documents.

Asked if Epstein was a Russian agent, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “I can joke about this, but let's not waste time. ”

The documents show that Epstein repeatedly expressed the desire to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, although there is no evidence that the meeting has ever occurred.

Peskov told Russian state media earlier this week that the Kremlin had never received a request from Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial.

President Putin's name appears frequently in the latest set of Epstein's e-mails mainly in news about Russian leaders, but also in several of Epstein's attempts to organise a meeting.

The latest publication of the documents also reveals Epstein's broad efforts to bring young women from Russia to Europe and the United States.
