Migrant smuggling: 6 foreign nationals found in a truck trailer in Gjilan

According to the Kosovo Police report, the case was reported on July 25th, around 11:05. Police units have come to the scene and have found that there were six men, foreign citizens, in the truck trailer.

They, along with the truck manager, have been escorted to the police station, where the prosecutor was present. After the interview, foreign citizens have been issued the confirmations for accommodation, in line with procedures, and then released.

Meanwhile, even the truck leader, following random initiative and consultation with the prosecutor, has been released in regular procedure.

“Gjilan / 25.07.26 11:05. Police have accepted a tip that several foreign citizens have been encountered during the dismissal of goods from a truck into the trailer. Police units have appeared at the scene and found that there were six male citizens there. The same ones with the truck manager have been brought to the station where the prosecutor was present. Foreign citizens, after interviewing the same, have been issued confirmations for accommodation under procedures and have been released. Likewise, the suspect (the truck leader) after the initiative of the case in consultation with the prosecutor has been released in regular procedure. Case in investigation”
