Kosovo gang arrested, 161 thefts committed in Switzerland

161 thefts in 11 cantons have been committed in Switzerland, and in this regard six men from Kosovo have been arrested. At the beginning of September 2025, several burglaries were registered in the Hochdorf municipality. Lucerney's police managed to arrest suspected persons.
In their vehicle, rule forces found allegedly stolen goods as well as vehicles used for breaking, Blick.ch reports.
Later, the Special Crimes Prosecutor, in collaboration with Lucerni Police, conducted extensive investigations. The investigations proved that the detainees were part of a criminal group operating at the national level. The suspects are citizens of Kosovo, aged 26 to 57, broadcast Paparaci.
Total damage is estimated at about 705 thousand francs
The six suspected persons are charged with committing a total of 161 burglaries in at least eleven Swiss cantons.
The main targets of theft have been business and business companies, with authors mainly targeting cash ready.
The amount seized by criminal acts is estimated at about 590 thousand francs, while the total material damage totals about 705 thousand francs.
Investigations into suspected authors are still under way near the Special Crimes Prosecutor.
