The Food and Veterinary Agency has announced that it has banned the importation of 1,080 liters of olive oil for salad in the Republic of Kosovo, following the raid carried out by the Inspectorate Winsanitar Border at the customs point in Vermica.
According to the announcement, after testing the subject by no. app PICF297960/2026, of the date 18,02.2026, has been found that the product, destined for import from the company “Eurothe Made 2021” by Lushnja, Albania, did not contain the right data in the commodity declaration.
Also, during physical control, goods were found to have been transported in poor hygienic conditions and along with other non - food goods, which, according to AUV, increases the likelihood of contamination.
