According to the OVL KLA, the claims presented, including labelling the KLA leadership as part of a “Joint Criminal Enterprise”, constitute an unacceptable attempt for criminalising our liberation war and for rewriteing the history of the right resistance of the people of Kosovo, Periskopi reports.
The KLA was reportedly and remains a liberation army, born of a need for survival and freedom, supported by the people and recognised by the international community as a legitimate side in the fight against the genocide regime of Serbia.
“O V LLAA reaffirms the conviction that this court is developing a comprehensive and unilateral process, ignoring Serbia's state crimes and focusing unjustly on the leaders of the liberation war. We will continue to defend historical truth, the dignity of our war and the image of our fellow fighters. True justice is built, not on error of facts, but on complete truth”, it is now said.
