The Fars news agency says it has received reports that several missiles have hit the area of the Iranian capital Republic.
Israel has launched what it called a “pre-emptive attack” against Iran.
In a statement issued this morning, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has declared a “state of special and permanent emergency” throughout all of Israel, the BBC writes, the Periscope broadcast.

The attack, which comes after Israel and Iran were involved in a 12-day air war in June, follows repeated warnings from the US and Israel that they would strike again if Iran continued with its nuclear and ballistic missile programmes.
