In its address to MPs, she stressed that the Assembly will serve all citizens and function with dignity, transparency and in accordance with the Constitution.
Haxhiu in her speech also cited the KLA war, as well as the judicial process under way in The Hague to its former members.

The new Speaker of the Parliament stressed that the institution it heads is the political home of all citizens, adding that the state serves everyone indiscriminately.
