An attempt on night-long theft in Rovato, Italy, ended with the arrest of a 32-year-old Albanian crime suspect, thanks to the Karabinier intervention.
The event took place about 4:30 in the morning of February 7th, when a patrol from the Chiarian Unit passed along the via Via Galdina, noticed a man fully dressed in black and covered face, trying to forcibly open the front door of the piceria “Amili”.
Upon seeing the officers, the man tried to walk, but the Carabinieri soon caught him and arrested him after a brief chase.
During a personal examination, the means of theft used to break the door was found and seized.
The identity of the 32-year-old was confirmed as B.E., an Albanian living in Kiln, Germany, and with criminal precedents.
Due to quick reporting from the owner of the pizza and analysis of the security camera footage, which caught the assailant trying to get into the bar, he was arrested on charges of attempted robbery. /Periscopi/
