The importance of maintaining the principles of impartial justice, the values of liberation war, as well as institutional and social responsibility for cultivating historical memory in younger generations was highlighted.
President Osmani expressed her support for this march, underlining the importance of protecting national values.
I support this civic initiative. National and war values for freedom must be defended and conveyed to new generations as part of our collective pride,” President Vjosa Osmani said.
For her part, Eliza Hoxha said the institutional and social support this march is receiving testifies to its civic and inclusive character.
This gear is a call for respecting impartial justice and preserving the dignity of our history. When institutions and citizens speak in a voice for justice, the message becomes more powerful,” Hoxha said.
Meanwhile, Ismail Tasholli stressed that February 17th represents a moment that unites citizens about basic state values.
“We believe that justice should be separate from politics and in the service of truth. On February 17th, citizens will give a clear message of unity, dignity and respect for the sacrifice of freedom,” Tashol declared.
The platform “Freedom has the name” thanked the president of the Republic for its reception and support, inviting citizens to join Pristina on February 17th for the motto march: “Justice, not politics”.
