Falsification of voting results in Suhareka, 72 suspects interviewed, 19 leaders assigned detention measures

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren has issued communiques for the launch of investigations into the Suhareka municipality of voter manipulation allegations. After authorisation by the prosecution and under this investigation, seventy-two suspects (72) have been interviewed. Nineteen of them (19) after the police interview, at the order of the State Prosecutor, have been detained for 48 hours in the quality of commission leaders, due to suspicion given that they committed criminal work “False voting results” by Article 216 par.2 of KPRK.”
The prosecution says that within legal terms, it will assess the preamble of the request regarding the provision for ensuring the presence of defendants in the procedure.
