Over 220 people have applied to be physically present in the courtroom in what is expected to bring the epilogue of a long process.
But the court's public gallery has the capacity for 67 seats.
In a response to T7, the Special Court has confirmed that due to limited numbers, priority has been given to certain categories.
The court has accepted over 220 requests from persons who want to attend sessions from the public gallery. Since the public gallery has only 67 seats, the priority has been given to members of the accused's family, the Kosovo Embassy, as well as the media, especially those from Kosovo or the” region, has declared Angela Greep for T7.
The process, carried out so far in the Specialised Chambers against former KLA leaders, lawyer Artan Kerkeyni considers it associated with numerous violations.
The order as accredited by the Court explains steps expected to be taken after the final words are completed in the process.
The Special Court has clarified through email that turnout confirmations have started being sent from Wednesday, February 4th, while the procedure remains ongoing. /Periscope
