The hearing is being led by Avni Dehar as the oldest.
The agenda of this session:
Forming the provisional Commission for verifying quorum and MP mandates,
The oath of the deputies,
The choice of the Speaker of the Parliament,
The choice of vice president of the Parliament.
The Speaker of the Parliament is nominated by the largest parliamentary group and elected by the majority of votes of all MPs. Three vice-presidents are nominated by larger groups, while two others from the communities (one of Serbs and others). The Constitutional Court days ago granted unlimited rights to the Serbian List as a majority within the Serb community, to propose the candidate for deputy head of the Parliament even after the execution of all names of its deputies.
This time around, according to incumbent President Dimal Basha, he agrees by parties that the vice-chairs vote take place in the package.
