Bugaq: Recent elections have severely tarnished election process integrity

Volnet Bugakku, a researcher at the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), said recent elections have severely tarnished the integrity of the election process.

He said he welcomes the fact that the State Prosecutor, according to him, for the first time is seriously treating prosecution.

“ ... and I welcome the fact that the State Prosecutor for the first time, I believe he has serious prosecution, not only of the commissioners, but it seems there will be even more thorough and expanded investigations”, he added.

He said the successful investigation should be when the investigation and the State Prosecutor attend and bring those candidates for MPs who have been involved in manipulation of votes to face responsibility.
