Kosovo Parliament Speaker Dimal Basha's meeting has begun with political subject leaders, reports Online Economy.
Representatives of political parties are participating in the meeting.
The meeting is being held in the Assembly Hall of the Parliament's Headship. The agenda is just one point: preparations for the Kosovo Parliament's tenth Constitutional Seanca.
Tomorrow, exactly 12:00 a.m., the elected deputies will be gathered in the Assembly to register the tenth legislature.
After a long period of political deadlock, new elections, and after the verdict citizens gave in the ballot boxes on December 28th, President Vjosa Osmani has called the constitutional hearing tomorrow to form the 10th legislature.
The right to propose the mayor belongs to the winning subject of elections, the Vetevendosje Movement.
In the elections held in 28,12.2025, the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV), such as the first party by the most votes, will have 57 deputies, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) 22, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) 15 and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) 6.
Of the 120 MPs making up the Kosovo Assembly, 20 are guaranteed with the Constitutions for non-partisan communities living in the country.
Of these 20, ten are guaranteed for representatives of the Serb community.
Nine of them will take over the Serbian List, a Nenad Rassic from the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival.
Two seats will occupy two deputies from the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo.
And one seat has won other parties to non-communal communities: V AKAT, Social Democratic Union, New Democratic Party, New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo (IRDK), Egypt's Liberal Party, the Ashkali Social Democrats, the Kosovo Progressive Movement and the United Party Gorane. /EO/ Periscope.
