In co-operation with the Kosovo Police, Prizren Regional Police Director, following the acceptance of public information concerning the process of recounting the results of the vote, the Suhareka Municipal Counting Centre, with authorisation of the chief prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor in Prizren, Petit Kryeziu, has been initiated with self-inciatory investigations.
“Under these investigations, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren is taking investigative action in the Suhareka municipality. Investigations deal with allegations of committing pre-priced criminal acts in Chapter X V III of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK), which connects with violations of voting rights. Taking into account the interest of public opinion and media, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren reports that during the day, after interviewing suspects in the police, an additional communique with information on the actions and developments of the previous investigative” will be released, the prosecution reports.
