Albania Police Director: We're hitting arms trafficking from Kosovo with successive operations

The “assessment and special gratitude for the Tirana Police Department, for finalising the next operation, in the continuation of successive and successful operations conducted for the crackdown on firearm trafficking by Kosovo towards Albania, as well as the criminal activity of selling or without gun permission in Tirana”, he was quoted as saying.

As he said, Operation “Barriera”, as well as operations and shocks carried out during 2025 and at the beginning of this year, are evidence of well-organised, professional, investigative and operational work of the DVP structures Tirana.
