After Zvecan, police again find weapons, ammunition and explosives in Zubin Potok

According to the official report, in 24,01,2026, police received information that an abandoned facility was suspected of being weapons and explosive devices. Shortly after receiving information, relevant police units have been located, where during the search they have found and seized:

-1 M48-type rifle
-244 rounds of different calibres
-2 empty mags
-an amount of explosives.

At the scene of the event, the Explosive Treatment Unit (EOD), which has removed the explosives safely. Investigations are continuing to determine the exact type of explosives found.

All police actions have been conducted in full co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, who has directed the initialisation of the case with criminal activity “retaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.

In this case, there are no persons arrested, while investigations remain ongoing.
