The United States and Israel have a strong and long-term relationship based on close co-ordination and common priorities. The discussion was constructive and positive, with both sides agreeing on future steps and on the importance of continuing co-operation on all critical issues for the region”, wrote Witkoff in a post on the X platform.
The talks focus on continuing the political process for Gaza, at a time when the region remains tense and international efforts for stabilisation and ceasefire are intensifying.
