Ermal Frasher, a professor and expert based in the United States, has commented on the participation of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where she participated in the signing of the “Peace Board” for Gaza.
Frasher also stopped by the gratitude Osman expressed to former US President Donald Trump for the act of authorising national defence.
According to the expert, Kosovo's involvement in a federal act adopted by the US Congress is an important development.
He stressed on the “Balkan Talks” show that this act creates a clear predictability for Kosovo by making the US administration pay attention to the country.
I saw as a pleasant surprise that such attention to Kosovo is reflected in a link Congress approves. For Congress to be so specific that it introduces a forecast for Kosovo and a series of actions that draw attention to the American administration that costs more importance to Kosovo, it's something that doesn't usually happen.
Finally Kosovo manages to have in Congress a strong lobby strong enough to put such predictability in a federal act, writes Euronews.al, broadcasts Periscope.
On the other hand, I think President Osmani has done well to thank Trump, which although this is an act of Congress again has thanked Trump's leadership, is an exact act. I think this will give a personal dimension and a reference point that Kosovo will also have in relation to the State Department.
I have the impression that in any future conversation, the State Department's attention will be conditioned by the forecast that was made in the act of defense. It's kind of an intervention that doesn't happen often. Kosovo has managed to translate this attention into legislation”, Ermal Frasher said. /Periscope
