He has declared that energy is a basic need, and any expensiveness has direct consequences for citizens.

According to Mulajt, such high growth would have a chain effect on family expenses.

“Electric energy is a basic need, and any increase has a chain effect on household expenses and on utility products prices. Such a high rise can hardly be justified without previously draining all opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced losses, better cost management and support from state institutions”, Mulaj said.

He has asked the Energy Regulatory Office to handle this proposal with maximum caution.

“THE ZERE should handle this proposal carefully and in public interest, ensuring full transparency and protecting the consumer. Such high growth should not be the first solution, because the final burden always falls on the citizen”, Mulaj told “Front Online”.
