European top diplomat Kaya Kallas has announced that the European Union has provided the first 10m euros for a new Special Tribunal.
As she wrote on X, this tribunal will prosecute Russian leaders for their role in Moscow's war against Ukraine.
Russia's “leaders are responsible for this war and must be held accountable. There can be no impunity. It is a pleasure to discuss with AlainBerset and sign the contract with the Council of Europe”, Kallas said.
