We appreciate the invitation, but we reject it. This is mainly and essentially because of sustainability”, the Spanish prime minister told reporters after the EU summit in Brussels.
He added that the decision is in line with “multilatreal order, the United Nations system and international law”.
Spanish Prime Minister also stressed that the Board “does not include Palestinian Administration”, reports yahoonews.
Trump on Thursday formalised the establishment of the Board at the World Economic Forum in Davos, signing the founding statute along with a diverse group of countries.

After much reflection, Spain has died not to party in the so-called Board of Peace.
We thank them for the invasion, but we decline.
This board is outside the United Nations framework. It doesn't include the Palestinian Authority.

Nearly 60 governments were invited to join, but few of Washington's Western allies have publicly accepted it, and Hungary and Bulgaria are the only member states of the European Union that have signed so far. Trump first conceived the Board as an organ that will oversee the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip after the war between Israel and Hamas.
Since then he has proposed that the Board's ambitions could be expanded to address conflicts and crises worldwide. Trump also announced co-operation between the Board and the United Nations on Thursday. /Periscope
