South Mitrovica municipality launches action to evacuate illegal vendors

As warned by the Directorate of Inspection, action has begun today in early hours of the morning to evacuate illegal vendors who were practicing street and sidewalks across the market area. The action is under way by the Director of Inspection, Mr. Muje Igrista, along with municipal inspectors in co-operation with Police and KR “Unity”, with the aim of placing businessmen in areas dedicated to trade”, wrote municipalities on her page.

The purpose of this action was said to be “to clear public spaces for pedestrians, access to normal traffic vehicles, and guarantee food safety”.

The municipality warned that such shares will continue in the coming days.
