Recounting of votes in Pec, Prosecutor: Tests will be analyzed and legal action taken

The chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, Joy Vucetaj, has met with police representatives with whom she has discussed co-ordination between the Prosecution and Police for taking action related to the election results of the candidates' lists. The fact is that when the recounting is completed and the evidence is analysed, further legal action will be taken.
“Ven to suggest that in terms of electoral process, the chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, on January 19th, has authorised the Kosovo Police to collect information concerning the number of votes of candidates of political subjects and we are awaiting completion of the recounting process, and that after we accept all findings, we will analyse each of the evidence that will be brought to the state prosecutor by the Kosovo Police, for the company of more relevant legal actions. Also discussed was the harmonisation of the actions of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec and Kosovo Police Regional Directorate in Pec for Combating Criminality and Public Security of Citizens.
