Conjufca: After Kurt's meeting with Osman and Obadiah, it seems that there is an interest

At the joint conference with Europe's Europe Minister, Benjamin Haddad, Konjufca, said opposition parties' response to the prime minister's invitation to office, Albin Kurti, has been faster than in past processes, calling it a sign of another political approach.

“As far as all processes followed after the election certificate were certified, Prime Minister Kurti addressed with a letter to all parties that were up until yesterday in opposition. They responded more quickly than other times, and this shows an interest in another nature, compared to the past”, Konjufca said.

He estimated that this time there is a greater will of political parties to avoid going to new elections.

Konjufca said the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has rejected the meeting, but has given its reasons, while for meetings with the PDK and the LDK said their positions have been clearly seen.

The “what we have seen at the meeting with the PDK are their old positions. As far as the LDK is concerned, there is a greater will and readiness to overcome this situation Kosovo”, Konjufca said.

He recalled that after the December elections, according to him, the situation was characterised by a political blockade.

“After the December elections, there has been a total blockade. The parties nevertheless wanted elections”, he said.

Speaking of internal developments in the LDK, Konjufca said he does not want to comment or advise on the party's internal processes, but added that after the meeting between Kurti, Osman and Abdixhik has seen another approach.

“We are not about to comment or advise, because LDK can fix its affairs. But it has seemed to me that after Kurt's meeting Osman and Obadiah there was another nature of discussion, where a solution may be found soon”, Conjufca said.
