Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has told of the Online Economy that the number of municipalities that have fully completed the recount is 19 and the other half remain.
“From the beginning of this process on 13 January and so far has been renumbered around 49% or 1,240 out of 2,557 seats. So, the process has been completed fully in 19 municipalities and there are still about 1,300 other locations, belonging to 19 other municipalities”, Elesi said.
Furthermore, Elez said the CEC is trying to complete at a time as quickly as possible to complete the recount process and announce final results.

According to Elez, as presented in the Law for General Elections, political subjects and candidates will be able to submit their complaints to PZAP and, eventually, the process can continue until the Supreme Court.
Only after completing the review, decision-making and implementation of decisions can the CEC proceed with the certificate of election results and the conclusion of the election process.
