Radoniqi meets with OSCE chief, announces recounting and announcing final results

Central Election Commission Chairman Kreshnik Radoniqi has met with O Mission Chief The SEU in Kosovo, Gerard McGourk.

In the CEC's announcement, Radoniqi has reportedly announced Ambassador McGourk's activities that the Central Election Commission is currently holding in the direction of completing the process of recounting the deployments and announcing the final results of early elections for the Kosovo Assembly.

On his part, Ambassador McGourk commended the CEC for organising the election process, as well as for steps taken in identifying problems during the vote counting process for candidates for MPs. He also stressed the CEC's commitment to protecting the integrity of the vote and election results.

At the end of the meeting, Radoniqi and McGurk agreed on future steps of co-operation between the CEC and the O Mission The SEU in Kosovo. ”
