According to the Prosecutor's State Department, the Randa Crime Department is closely following the recount process, as suspicions of differences in the election candidates' results have been noted after the outcome of the vote counting in this municipality.
In this direction, the State Prosecutor has issued official authorisation for the Kosovo Police in order to verify the accuracy of the results and determine whether there has been possible violations by responsible persons during the election process.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has indicated that she remains committed to protecting the free vote of citizens and in handling every suspected case, aimed at preserving the integrity of the election process and rule of law.
