Prizren court appoints hearings for 109 people detained for vote theft

According to the official announcement, persons were detained on January 23rd 2026 under suspicion of committing criminal acts against the right to vote.
The Court finds that this announcement applies only to the timing of holding hearings, while stressing that the process of accepting requests from the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren for determining the security measure has not yet ended.
As a result, the final number of requests and persons whose security measures will be required are not yet confirmed.
The court adds that the appointment of hearings has been made in order to organise and manage the judicial process.
