Police in northern Mitrovica stop a car with smuggled goods

Kosovo police have detained a car with smuggled goods in northern Mitrovica.

The report reportedly said that “, police officials from the Mitrovica North Police Station have detained a vehicle with local license plates on “Knjaz Milos” road.

During vehicle search, police have found an amount of pants for which the driver, E.G., has not presented the necessary documentation regarding the merchandise.

Within regular tasks, dated 2501.2026, around 15:20, police officials from the North Mitrovica Police Station have stopped for control of a vehicle with local license plates on “Knjaz Milos” road.

During vehicle search, police have found an amount of pants for which the driver, E.G., has not presented the necessary documentation regarding the merchandise.

According to procedures, the case will be prosecuted in Kosovo Customs for further actions and treatment under the law in force. Police continue to work on preventing smuggling and encourage citizens to co-operate by reporting any suspicious action in the 192 or nearest police station. Police guarantee quick actions and regular procedures to all who try to break the law.
