Ortech in Brezovica, ShKMK appears with notice

Research Association- Rescues have announced that an avalanche accident has occurred today in Brezovica, in an area outside the regular path.

According to the association, the avalanche has been initiated by some skiers, but fortunately the involved have escaped without injuries.

“Bank Mountain Peace Research Techniques, on the 1801.26th, while checking snow layers, have recorded two problematic layers in the Brezovica area. Of these, the most disturbing is the basic layer on vegetation (Ground-based Persistent Weyer lager ) Dept Hoar)”, says the report.

“As a result of the recent snowfall, accompanied by strong winds from the southeast, accusations of consolidated snow layers have been created, increasing weight and pressure on these weak layers. Based on current assessment, combining these factors has created unfavourable conditions and increased risk of avalanches”.

The ShKSMK has appealed for maximum care during skiing and external activities, especially on the northern pages, without excluding the risk of orientations and other geographic positions.

Please avoid moving outside safe paths. Be informed in advance of snow and weather conditions, use adequate safety equipment, and do not act individually on dangerous terrain”.
