The prosecution said they were detained for 48 hours and said within the legal deadlines it would assess the preamble of the request for the security of the defendants' presence in the procedure.
They are charged with these criminal acts: “Falsification of the results of the vote”, by Article 216, “Canosja” by Article 181, “Vania, or taking bribes to vote” by Article 212 of KPRC, at the order of the State Prosecutor, have been detained for 48 hours, one hundred and nine persons.
In the action, described as the largest ever in Prizren in the number of detainees, four prosecutors and 200 police officials were engaged.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren announces the public opinion that, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Prizren, as well as the Regional Police Director in Prizren, following the acceptance of public information regarding the recounting process of voting results at the Centre for Counting and Resolutions (QNR), respectively, for the Communist Counting Centre (QKN) in Prizren, has taken investigative action concerning allegedly conducting criminal acts by Chapter X V III of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK), against the vote's Rights.
After authorisation by the prosecution and under this investigation, after interviewing on allegations of committing criminal acts “Falsification of the results of the vote”, by Article 216, “Canosja” by Article 181, “Vania, or taking bribes to vote” by Article 212 of KPRC, at the order of the State Prosecutor, have been detained for 48 hours, one hundred and nine persons.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, within legal terms, will assess the preamble of the request to ensure the presence of defendants in the procedure.
Four (4) state prosecutors from the Randa Crime Department, as well as about two hundred (,200) police officials, have been involved.
