US officially withdraws from O BSH, lose one of the main donors

The US has officially withdrawn from the World Health Organisation (OBSH), removing one of its biggest donors. The decision was made public after the signing of an executive order by President Donald Trump, a year after criticising the organisation for excessive focus on China during the Codov-19 pandemic.
The U.S. Department of Human Health and Services argued the withdrawal was due to the alleged “mismanagement” of pandemic by WHO, lack of reforms and political influence by member states.
O The BSH dismissed these claims, and its general director, Tedros Adhanom Ghebrreesus, said the US withdrawal is a loss to the country and to the world in global public health efforts.
