“We have inherited a situation of political corruption. There is strong endurance and endurance for humans never to return. So our hope is people, that they will report the system and the public on corruption that they face”, he said, as he added that his government was an example.
“No one, absolutely no one within the cabinet of the ministers sʹe has the slightest imagination of involvement in any corruption scale”, he has said.
Speaking of the December 28th elections, he has said they were not the target of his party, but “followed lack of co-operation with the opposition”.
Kurti has said that Vetevendosje has tried after 9 February last year to meet with opposition parties, but that they refused.
In the December 28th elections, Kurti and VV won more than 50 per cent of the vote.
