The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, under US President Donald Trump's presence has signed the agreement on participation at the Peace Board in Davos, United States.
Osmani was seen sharing a brief conversation with President Trump, where he later signed the agreement, which was received with applause by other attendees.
But what is the Peace Board?
US President Donald Trump's administration has contacted various figures around the world to become part of the so-called “Peace Board” and related entities aimed at monitoring governance and reconstruction in the post-war Gaza.
The White House said there will be a main board, headed by Trump himself, a Palestinian technocrat committee aimed at governing war-torn territory, and a “executive board” that appears to be designed to have a more advisory role.
