Aliaj was stabbed inside his cell by a person named a contract killer and earlier killed another Albanian, Arthur Bashim.
Who was Jani Aliaj?
49-year-old Tepelena, who was arrested in Greece on December 31st, 2024.
Aliaj had been sentenced to prison in Albania for the murder of Elton Cicos in 2016 in Tirana in an old conflict among them that ended with retaliation and fatality.
He was also accused of a 2015 event in Permet, where the attempted theft of a large quantity of marijuana ended with injuries. /Periscope
