He has suggested that only such an investigation could reveal the existence of a broad criminal scheme in the voting process abroad.
In his account in “Facebook”, Haxhiu has welcomed Prizren's yesterday's prosecution's action on vote manipulators, demanding that Kosovo's chief prosecutor should act with the same legal standard.
“Action of Prizren Chief Prosecutor, Mr. Petrit Kryeziu deserves public recognition for institutional responsibility shown in law enforcement against vote manipulators. Equal implementation of the law should be extended to the entire electoral process, including actions in the CNR and the CEC, where eligible votes outside the legal deadline have been administered, for which there are doubts based on manipulation. The prosecution, in line with constitutional and legal obligations, has the obligation to investigate any allegations of misuse of votes, including votes in the WKN, the QNR, as well as votes coming in by mail, which have been accepted, administered and included in the election outcome in opposition to the General Election Law. These actions constitute serious violations of the integrity of the” election process, he wrote, pointing to his demands.
For this reason, votes in the mail must submit to forensic grafological expertise as part of an independent, professional and impartial investigation. Such an investigation could reveal the existence of a broad criminal scheme in the voting process abroad. The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina and Kosovo's chief prosecutor should act with the same legal standard so that no vote manipulated or accepted outside the legal deadline is included in the final election outcome. Only a comprehensive process of law enforcement and verification of any vote can restore minimal confidence in an already compromised election process in its entirety. The law is equal to all. No one is above law”, he wrote.
