US donates $3m scanner to Kosovo to strengthen border security

The United States of America has donated a Kosovo scanner today to strengthen border security.

According to the US Embassy's announcement in Pristina, the scanner amounts to $3m, and the same is located in Merdara.

Also, the report reportedly supports legitimate trade with this advanced technology, strengthening security and interesting economics.

“Objection of illegal trafficking and preventing the spread of counterfeit goods makes American and Kosovo businesses stronger and more prosperous. That is why the United States is proud to strengthen Kosovo's border security through a US-made Rapiscan 3 million-dollar scanner. Technology increases detection, supports legitimate trade and advances common security and economic interests”, the embassy's announcement said.
