Obilic Community Chairman Halil Thaci has announced that today he has made a decision to toughen measures against pollution of public spaces, with the aim of boosting awareness and improving waste management.

According to the decision, any physical person who pollutes public spaces or the area prior to his property will be fined 200 euros, while any business or business subject that pollutes public spaces or the area prior to his property will be fined 1,000 euros.

“Today I've made the decision that, in order to increase awareness and improve waste management: Any physical person who pollutes public spaces or the area before his property will be fined 200 euros. Any business or business subject that pollutes public spaces or the area prior to its facility will be fined 1000 euros”, Thaci writes on Facebook.

The implementation of the decision will be realised by the Municipal Inspectorate.
