During the raids, irregularities were identified regarding the possession of drugs without regular documentation and fiscal banners, while in some other locations no violations were found.
As a result of this action, a total of 988 packages of medications, worth approximately 10,000 euros, were seized.
Kosovo Customs announced that the action was conducted according to standard operational procedures and represents another concrete step in the fight against smuggling, public health protection and strengthening of rule of law.
Kosovo's “Dogan remains committed to, in co-operation with security and intelligence institutions, continuing controls and operational actions towards any illegal activity,” is said in the Customs Community.
