The Tirana court decided to sentence Tomor Cela to 23 years in prison, charged with killing 2 persons in 1997.
A2 CNN reports that Cela was extradited from the US to our country on 2 June 2022. He was captured by US police following the Albanian authorities' request and was already brought to Albania in order to carry out the sentence.
After he came to Albania, he requested retrial, the process that confirmed the sentence handed down earlier to him.
