CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has said the recount process is expected to be completed this Friday.
He said about 88 per cent of the polling has been recounted by Thursday 10:00, reports Express, broadcast Periscope.
“From the beginning of this process (c. Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, 18:00) and so far ( Thursday, January 29, 2026, 10:00) have renumbered about 8.8% or 2,245 out of 2,557 seats. So the total number of municipalities that have so far completed the recounting are 34, already remaining to be counted even 312 locations belonging to the last 4 municipalities from this process”, Elez said. /Periscope
