Buzhala for Obadiah: Its re-election eventually buried LDK a nationwide party

The Democratic League of Kosovo, on January 30th, will hold the electoral decision to appoint the new party chairman, following the resignation handed down to the helm by the current chairman, Lumir Abdixhiku.

In a post, journalist Berat Buzhala has criticised Abdixhik's re-election for the party's proud.

Well, what happened to the LDK on December 28th has to address full responsibility. Conscience has the name above: Lumir Abdixhiku”, he wrote.

In the last election, as a percentage of votes compared to elections prior to these, the largest loss has gone to Lumir Abdixhik, then LDK, then AAK and PDK.

The vote for LDK has decreased 29 percent, while the vote for Loomi is down 42 percent.

I understand the structures, I understand the Imrine Gas and the likes who want to continue holding the river chairman.

But let them know that the river's at the helm of LDK is just their private interest, not that of the party.

If Lumir is re-elected, it also marks the end of the LDK as a party that punishes those who lose in the election.

I supported the selection of the mayor in 2021, after the fatal loss. The LDK arrived with the reshuffle, held and won several cities, including Pristina. In other words, the voter gave confidence to new party structures.

Even in February the result was enjoyable. It went close to 200 thousand votes. A solid outcome takes into account the circumstances.

But what happened to LDK's on December 28th must be addressed with full responsibility. Conscience has the name above: Lumir Abdixhiku.

His re-election eventually takes the LDK as the international party. You turn it into a clan and a business party.
