However, this did not discourage Solomon, who scored the winning goal for “Verde Submarine”, which won the fourth victory this season.
Otherwise, he has faced serious harassment before, especially after publicly supporting Israel in October 2023 after Hamas' attack. Since then, along with negative reactions in stadiums, he regularly receives threats and insults through social networks.
During a match between Leeds and Stoke City in December 2024, antisemitic calls were heard, therefore Leeds issued a statement and announced sanctions against those responsible.
In June 2025, Solomon was again targeted when the club posted a message of congratulations on his marriage to his partner Dana Vosina. Hated comments flooded the post, with insults calling the player “genital”, “sionist” and <x4 child killer”.
Also, as he returned to Israel for a marriage, Solomon remained trapped in the country because of the closure of airspace during the conflict with Iran, which further attracted public attention to his situation.
