The report says FIFA has made that decision due to incidents in the match [...]
The report said FIFA has made that decision due to incidents in the match against England, which was played 9 September at the “Rajko Mijq” stadium in Belgrade, which England won with a score of 5-0.
The FIFA disciplinary Commission made the decision that the FFS be fined 80 thousand Swiss francs for incidents related to order and security, as well as for improper and discriminated against by some fans during the 2026 World qualifying match, Serbia-Algli”, says on the official FFS page.
FIFA Disciplinary Commission has shown the violations for which the FFS has been condemned:
“Unable to ensure order and discipline in and around the stadium, use of lasers and gestures, words of inappropriate objects, obstacles during the execution of national anthems, and the discriminatory behaviour of some fans”, reports the FFS.
Except for fines, The FFS has been ordered for FIFA's next official match team A against Albania in Leskovc to hold with limited numbers of viewers. In this case, at least 20% of the tribunes' capacity will be shut down, mainly behind the gates”, the FFS points out.
The stadium's capacity in Leskovc is slightly more than 8,000 seats, while according to FIFA's decision, it will drop for about 1,600 countries.
“According to the decision, the FFS is obliged to hand over FIFA's distribution plan to countries later ten days before the match, with the possibility that, with the preliminary approval of FIFA, some of the capacity will be met with communities and groups of special interest (family, student, organisation dealing with the fight against discrimination). The plan should include clear activities against discrimination”, the FFS announcement concludes.
Albania on 11 October, at 20:45, will play against Serbia in Leskovc, at “Duboqica” Stadium, in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match. Red and Black have 8 points in second place, 1 points more than third-place Serbia, but has held a match less.
