The second training session was held today at the National FFC Camp in Hyvali, with the participation of all football players invited by selective Franco Foda. Because of the late voyage and arrival at the gathering, Fidan Aliti and Ron Raqi held only part of the training with different programmes.
Coach Foda focused mainly on tactical aspects, working with the team in the way it aims to apply it to the first challenge against Switzerland.
After the hearing, their thoughts divided the Dardans' two footballers, Dion Gallapin and Meriton Korenica, who stressed the team's commitment and their expectations for the first two games of this cycle.
“Training is going with high intensity. We're preparing for these two matches, but normally the focus right now is only on Switzerland. We're working tactically, so we hope to get there and get a positive result. I expect that in the match with Switzerland we will enter the maximum focus because we know it's a difficult match, and I hope that with the help of our fellow countrymen we will receive positive results”, Gallapen said.
We're preparing maximum for these two matches. The training has gone well today. All the boys are motivated for the first fight. I hope we can do our best, and we can do our best, since it's known to be a tough fight, but it's all going very well and I hope we can give it our best, and why not get a positive result. They're two very strong nationals, both Switzerland and Sweden, but we expect positive results, as we have a very good team of players. Everyone is motivated and eager to host the games. I expect everyone's support at Basel, as there are many Albanians there and I hope that we will do our best and please those who will come to watch the match”, Korenica said.
The Dardans' next training is to be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, from 11:00 p.m. to the National JFF Camp in Hyvali. /Periscopi
