Club from Gjilan, Light, has written history tonight providing for the first time the participation in the U group phase EFA Conference League, after an excellent performance in confrontation against the luxury team Differdang.
In the second match of “play-off”, which took place tonight in Luxembourg, Light won a narrow but valid victory with a score of 0:1. The summit's only goal was marked by Besnik Krasniqi from penalty in the 62nd minute, giving the Kosovo team the decisive advantage.
This victory, combined with the score of 2:1 in the first match held in Kosovo, takes light away with a overall score of 3:1, securing for the first time participation in the Conference League groups.
Although it is not the first team from Kosovo to achieve this success (Balkans has been in the race's group phase twice before), Light becomes the second team from the country representing Kosovo in such a European competition, marking a historic moment for the club and Kosovo football.
